Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 achieves remarkable milestones in just three days of release. The YRF action-thriller, a key component of the interconnected Spy Universe, rakes in an estimated Rs 42 crore on its third day, adding to the impressive Rs 100 crore from the initial two days. The net domestic total now stands at Rs 146 crore, marking Salman’s 17th film to surpass the Rs 100 crore net mark.

This blockbuster made an unconventional Sunday debut, coinciding with Diwali, garnering an impressive Rs 44 crore on the opening day. Day two witnessed substantial growth, recording Rs 58 crore in earnings. Globally, Tiger 3 has exceeded Rs 220 crore, putting it on a trajectory to surpass Ek Tha Tiger’s Rs 330 crore global gross from over a decade ago. In comparison, Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017 grossed Rs 565 crore globally.

On its third day, Tiger 3 reported a Hindi-language occupancy of 33%, while the token Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions achieved an occupancy of under 20% each. Interestingly, Tiger 3 faces relatively lower popularity in South Indian regions compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 hits, Pathaan and Jawan, both crossing the Rs 1000 crore global mark.

Salman, despite nearing the benchmark, has yet to breach it, with his highest-grossing film worldwide being Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which surpassed Rs 900 crore. After surpassing the first Tiger’s lifetime earnings, Tiger 3 aims to outshine Hrithik Roshan’s War, which posted a Rs 475 crore global gross. The film’s success marks another significant achievement in Salman Khan’s illustrious career.
