Mumbai: Salman Khan‘s staple festival Eid release Sikandar, couldn’t charm the audience this time, it managed to cross the Rs. 150 crore mark. Sikandar’s box office performance has been disappointing from day one, and even a week of its release, the Rashmika Mandanna-starrer has failed to pick up pace.

According to the trade tracker, Sikandar earned Rs 3.75 crore on Saturday. The film’s net collection in India stands at Rs 97.50 crore, while globally, the AR Murugadoss directorial has earned Rs 154.35 crore. As per the makers, the movie grossed Rs 178.16 crore in its first six days.

Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker A. R Murugadoss, Sikandar weaves a compelling tale that seamlessly blends elements of action and romance. This narrative approach ensures that audiences remain captivated from start to finish. The meticulous promotional efforts have particularly emphasized the dynamic between Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among both their fans and moviegoers in general. This strategic focus has played a crucial role in building momentum and hype surrounding the film’s release.

In its first week, the movie Sikandar witnessed an overall box office collection of Rs 97.47 crores, as per the data compiled by Sacnilk. The film’s revenue on its seventh day, the first Saturday following its release, marked a slight increase of 6% in numbers, culminating in earnings of Rs 3.75 crores. This uptick came after a significant drop of 41% on the sixth day, the first Friday, where the movie managed to garner only Rs 3.5 crores.
