Mumbai: A threatening message was received on a WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which ₹5 crore has been demanded from Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The sender reportedly threatened that if the money is not given, “Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique”.
“Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay ₹5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique,” the sender claimed as per the information received from the sources.
The Mumbai police probing the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique has issued a look-out circular (LOC) against three accused, including main shooter Shivkumar Gautam, to prevent them from fleeing the country, an official said on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
The other two accused named in the LOC are the “co-conspirator” Shubham Lonkar and suspected handler Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar.
Earlier on October 17, Sukkha, a shooter of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, has been nabbed by Navi Mumbai Police from Haryana’s Panipat in connection with the firing incident at Salman Khan’s residence, Bandra, reported a news agency. The arrest was conducted together with the police from the Panipat Sector 29 area. Sukkha from Rail Kalan village is said to be involved in firing at Salman Khan’s house and is the main accused in the case. The police claimed that Sukkha will be taken to Navi Mumbai and produce him before a court for remanding on Thursday.
Salman Khan Threat Amid Baba Siddique Murder Investigation
Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap, who allegedly killed former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, learned to shoot by watching YouTube videos, said Mumbai Police investigating the case.
Mumbai police revealed that the conspiracy to kill Baba Siddique began three months before his death. According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the murder plan was devised in Pune, where the accused frequently visited Siddique’s house without carrying weapons. Investigations have revealed that the accused had been surveying the victim’s home and office 25 days before the shooting.
