“Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” which has been out, for a week now saw an increase in its box office earnings. The film, directed by Karan Johar and starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt reportedly made around ₹7 crore on Friday.
Based on estimates, the movie earned ₹6.90 crore net on its eighth day in India. It had a start with collections of ₹11.1 crore on the opening day, followed by ₹16.05 crore on the day ₹18.75 crore on the third day, ₹7.02 crore on the fourth day and ₹7.3 crore on the fifth day. Subsequently, it settled at ₹6.9 crore on the day and ₹6.21 crore on the day. Overall it has collected around ₹80.23 crore far.
Apart from Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s dynamic performances as leads in “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani ” the film also features a cast including Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.
