Dhurandhar 2 has been on a spectacular run in the box office despite it being indicative of deceleration after a big opening week. The Ranveer Singh starred film enjoyed an illustrious opening having the highest paid previews, and three 100+ crore days in its protracted opening weekend. Within four days, the movie had already gathered a record net of 454 crore in India alone.

This was carried forward into the weekdays with the movie making the highest Monday grossed film in the history of Indian cinema at 65 crores net, and then 56 crores the following Tuesday. This brought its domestic aggregate to 575 crore in six days. Wednesday was the seventh day of the film and its pace was consistent despite registering the lowest morning footfall till then.

As per the initial estimates, the movie had an approximate 20 percent attendance rate in morning shows and had earned nearly 14.19 crore by mid afternoon and thus its total was nearing 590 crore. The film is likely to hit the ₹600 crore mark by the end of the day comfortably and follow its record-breaking path of trade analysts.

The film has already overtaken the lifetime collections of several other blockbusters in the process and is currently pursuing the standards put in by recent blockbusters. Dhurandhar 2 will be one of the highest grossing Hindi films ever as it will be released with a strong track record, and the predecessor is yet to take over the domestic collection.
