Mumbai: The 67th filmfare awards on Tuesday brought the black lady home for many celebrities. The awards ceremony saw the coming together of the entire Hindi film industry under a roof. Actor Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Male) for his film ’83 while Kriti Sanon bagged the Best Actor in a Lead Role (female) award for Mimi.
‘Shershaah’ bagged yet another award at the 67th Filmfare Awards. The film’s music album has been awarded the ‘Best Music album’ award. Tanishk Bagchi, B Praak, Jaani, Jasleen Royal, Javed-Mohsin, and Vikrant Montrose were awarded for their contribution to the film’s music. The most famous song of the film- Rataan Lambiyaan brought Asees Kaur the accolade for the Best Female Playback singer.
B Praak singer of the emotional Man Bharaye song at the funeral of Sids charecter bagged the Best Male Playback singer award. The Karan Johar production had bagged most of the nominations for the 67th filmfare award.
Abhishek Kapoor, Supratik Sen and Tushar Paranjape were awarded for the best story . Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardhar Udham Singh bagged the best screenplay awards amongst others.
Debutants Ehan Bhat (99 Songs) and Sharvari Wagh (Bunty Aur Babli 2) made it to the stance for best male and female respectively. Seema Pahwa was awarded as the Best Debut Director for Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi.
