New Delhi: The popular comedian-actor Raju Srivastava continues to be on ventillator, his brother Dipoo Srivastava updated today. His elder brother who is also a comedian is recovering slowly but continues to remain unconscious. “The recovery is slow, he will be fine soon. He is stable and on a ventilator”, said his brother.
Its been more than a month since Raju Srivastava has been admitted to the hospital following a heart attack. It’s been 35 days since he has been on ventilators and the family was planning to shift him to another hospital in Mumbai, where Srivastava resides, however, Dipoo has denied such claims.
Srivastava has been in the entertainment industry since 1980s, and shot to fame after participating in the reality stand-up comedy show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” in 2005. He is remembered for his supporting roles in Hindi films like Baazigar, Maine Pyar Kiya. He is also the chairman of the Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.
