Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s blockbuster film Pushpa 2: The Rule has grossed more than ₹1,800 crore at the worldwide box office within a month of its theatrical run. The film, released on December 5, remained in very high spirits, and audiences are still thronging the halls after four weeks of the movie release.
And after a successful collection on January 1, Pushpa 2 saw a dipped collection on January 2. As per the collections recorded by the box office, the film collected around ₹ 5 crore nationwide on Thursday. Day 29 collections were ₹5.1 crore nett in India, which means it was down by 61% compared to the collections of Day 28. But there is hope of picking up, particularly in the Hindi belt, for the weekend that has just begun.
Now, this collection comes to ₹ 69.75 crore nett, and the Hindi version alone includes ₹ 53.75 crore nett. On the other hand, the Telugu version garnered ₹13.59 crore, and the Tamil version took the domestic total to ₹2.15 crore nett. In its 29-day run, the film had grossed ₹1,189.85 crore nett in the domestic territory only.
Globally, the makers have confirmed that Pushpa 2: The Rule collected as much as ₹1,799 crore for its fourth week of release. This tremendous achievement made the film one of the few movies to make the highest revenue collection in the history of India.
Filled with an engaging storyline, the mass power of Allu Arjun, and director Sukumar’s brilliance, Pushpa 2 is still going strong at the box office. With business expected to grow in the fifth week to replicate the earlier trend at the box office, the movie continues to solidify its special place in the history of movies.
