Priya Sachdev Kapur Pens Emotional Tribute on First Wedding Anniversary Since Sunjay Kapur’s Passing
To mark their ninth wedding anniversary with her deceased husband, businessman Sunjay Kapur, Priya Sachdev Kapur used her Instagram handle on Monday. The sad reality about this year’s wedding anniversary celebrations for Priya is that this will be the first time she is celebrating her anniversary without Sunjay, after his sudden demise.
In order to pay tribute to Sunjay and remember the happy times, Priya shared some of the nostalgic photos from their traditional Punjabi wedding ceremony. The pictures included Priya wearing her stunning golden color kurta set while Sunjay was seen wearing a beautiful white color kurta pyjama along with a traditional pink pagdi.
The tribute was completed with the help of a touching message penned by Priya which remembered their last anniversary celebrations. She said in her message:
“Happy Anniversary, J ❤️ On our last year’s anniversary, we celebrated with your Dosco friends. It was noisy, warm, and very funny. You looked at me and told me you want us to stay together for seven lives more. I am counting on it, J.”
However, in addition to the wedding pictures, she included something even more intimate – the letter written by Sunjay on their seventh anniversary. “Most precious gift of mine,” she wrote about the letter he wrote for her.
In her touching post, Priya talked about how Sunjay was her “safe haven” and “heartbeat,” adding that loving him is the most natural thing for her. It seems like by mentioning these intimate details from their life – starting from the loud laugh in school and ending with the magical handwritten letter, which became a refuge for her grief – Priya stressed another important point: although the businessman is gone, the soulmate will still stay with her forever due to a promise of seven lives.
