SRKs comeback venture Pathaan has emerged as the highest-grossing film in the history of Bollywood. The fourth film under YRFs spy universe swamped theatres both domestically and worldwide. With a whopping earning of Rs 1000 crore plus, King Khan has taken home a huge remuneration cheque.

Yash Raj Films made Pathaan on a heavy budget of Rs 270 crore (including the cost for promotions), which the film recovered in no time thanks to Shah Rukh Khan’s star power.

On the domestic front, the movie minted Rs 545 crore while global screenings raked the movie Rs 396.02 crore came in from overseas. The actioner therefore profited by Rs 333 crore.

Instead of charging a direct fee for any movie he acts in, Shah Rukh Khan takes a share in the profit. King Khan had struck a deal of taking home 60 percent of the profits earned which means he collected Rs 200 crore as his remuneration for the all-time blockbuster that also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
