O’Romeo by Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj has surpassed 70 crores in the Indian box office, which is a milestone in its theatrical performance. The romantic action thriller has now become the second highest grossing film in India by Triptii Dimri.
The film has earned ₹1.6 crore on Day 13 according to initial estimates and experienced a 34 percent decline in the previous day because of the usual mid-week decline. The overall domestic net collection of the film has totaled about 70.62 crore even though it has dipped. GST has added approximately 83.33 crore to the gross box office figure.
Set on a supposed 100 plus crore budget, O’Romeo yet has far to go before hitting the safety net. The movie is now being directly competing in the box office with some other movies such as Do Deewane Seher Mein, Border 2, and Mardaani 3. It will also start competing tomorrow with The Kerala Story 2, which will stretch the number of audience footfalls even more.
This has made the film easily overtake Bad Newz (₹64 crore) to become the second-highest grossing film of Triptii Dimri. Nevertheless, it seems extremely unlikely to be surpassed by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has earned 281.56 crore. With the current state of affairs, O’Romeo should end its journey in a solid spot, holding the second place in her career ranking.
