Mumbai: YRF’s ‘War 2‘ has received a U/A 16+ certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), after it was altered to a runtime of 171.44 minutes from the earlier 179.49 minutes. The board passed the spy drama with minor cuts and modifications, including a nine-second reduction in a bikini scene featuring Kiara Advani.
As per sources close to the production, the Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR-starrer The board suggested a nine-second cut in Advani’s bikini shot, reportedly from the ‘Aawan Jaawan’ song. CBFC also instructed the War 2 team to reduce sensual images by 50 percent, which in duration amounts to 9 seconds. Reportedly, the sequences in question are those of Kiara Advani’s bikini shots in the song Aavan Jaavan.
Junior NTR got very emotional after seeing the love he was getting from the fans at the War 2 event held in Hyderabad. During this, he said, “My career started 25 years ago with the film Ninnu Choodalani, which was launched under the banner of late Shri Ramoji Rao garu. That day I was alone, only my parents were with me. I asked my first fan, Mujeeb of Adoni, ‘Who are you?’ He said, ‘I am your fan sir, I can even give my life for you.’ Till then none of my films had even been released. From that day till today, seeing millions of fans with me in this journey is a blessing of past lives.”
Actor Junior NTR is going to be seen in the film War 2, which is releasing on August 14. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani are also in important roles in it. Apart from this, he will be seen in many big projects. He also has a powerful action film named NTR X Neel at present, which is being directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel. The film will be released on June 25, 2026 and is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Apart from this, he is also doing a grand mythological film with Trivikram Srinivas, in which he will play the divine character of Lord Kumaraswamy.
