Mumbai: The Mumbai NDPS court today rejected Aryan Khan’s bail plea. On October 14th, the Judge reserved bail orders for Aryan and had decided to release a verdict today.
As the court rejected the bail plea once again, lawyers representing the accused have decided to move the HC. As the court is scheduled to go on leave from November first week, freedom to all accused is yet dubious. Aryan is currently lodged in Arthur jail road along with the other accused. The festive holidays coming up seem to be daunting for those accused in the
Aryan after being taken into custody faced several interrogations and court sessions and was handed over to the NCB on October 4th for questioning. Special Prosecutor for the NCB had filed two-day custody for the accused in the court. The NCB custody was extended until October 7th later. After arguments were hurled from Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde, the court rejected Aryan’s bail plea pronouncing extension of custody. The next day Aryan and the other accused were remanded for a 14day judicial custody by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate RM Nerlikar. Following an interrogation from the NCB, the court further rejected the bail.
So far there has been no shreds of evidence of Aryan khan being involved in drug peddling, his, lawyer iterated. The son of the superstar Shahrukh Khan had been arrested on October 3rd as an accused in the cruise drug case bound to Goa from Mumbai.
