Mumbai: Actor Mukul Dev died on May 23. He was in the ICU as he wasn’t keeping well for a few days. The 54-year-old actor is survived by his brother Rahul Dev.
Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul in ‘Son of Sardar’, confirmed the news to India Today. He lamented that Mukul would not be able to see himself on the big screen. “After his parent’s death, Mukul was keeping to himself. He would even step out of the house or meet anyone. His health deteriorated in the last few days and he was in the hospital. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was an amazing person, and we will all miss him,” Singh said.
Mukul’s friend and famous TV actress Deepshikha Nagpal is deeply shocked by the actor’s death. Deepshikha has remembered Mukul by posting a photo with him.
Actor Mukul Dev, best known for his roles in films such as Son of Sardaar, R… Rajkumar, and Jai Ho, died on Friday night. Mukul Dev was last seen in the Hindi film Anth The End. He was the younger brother of actor Rahul Dev.
Born in New Delhi to a Punjabi family, Mukul Dev had roots in a village near Jalandhar. His father, Hari Dev, served as an assistant commissioner of police and introduced him to Afghan culture. He was fluent in Pashto and Persian. The cause of death has not been confirmed yet. A statement from his family or close associates is awaited.
