Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam was hospitalized after he tested positive for COVID-19 recently. So far no proper details on the health status of the cinematographer apart from that he is admitted to a private hospital are available.
The Ponniyin Selvan director was recently spotted at the teaser launch which took place on July 8th. According to sources, Ratnam is currently being treated at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Ratnam turned his Tamil literary dream into reality after the hard work of 10 years.
Ponninyn Selvan will be released in 2 parts. The first part is scheduled to release on September 29th in multiple languages. Aishwarya Rai Bachhan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Karthi and Jayam Ravi play the lead roles. AR Rahman scored the tunes of the periodic drama. Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Kishore, Parthibhan, Sobhita Dhuipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi play crucial roles.
