Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa saw a decline at the box office on its first Monday. According to reports, the comedy-drama collected ₹60 lakh from the ticket counters on the fourth day. On February 10, the film got only 8.35% Hindi occupancy.
Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan will debut on the big screen in the film Loveyapa. According to the report, the film has so far sold Rs 5.15 crore in India.
Advait Chandan is the director of Loveyapa, which was released on February 7. The film also has significant performances from Ashutosh Rana, Grusha Kapoor, Kiku Sharda, Tanvika Parlikar, and Devishi Madaan. Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor’s rumored boyfriend, gave Loveyapa a heartfelt shoutout before its premiere. Vedang shared an adorable picture of Khushi wrapped in a shawl and making a funny face, writing, “Tomorrow is Loveyapa Day. Must see.” Khushi also reshared the post on her Instagram Stories with a heart emoji.
In a review, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Loveyapa 2.5 out of 5 stars. He wrote, “Loveyapa makes no great demands on our grey cells, but it isn’t, at the same time, the kind of Hindi film that lets you watch it without having to bank upon your brain.”
