Despite receiving a dull response the Forest Gump remake- Laal Singh Chadda has made its way to the prestigious Academy awards also known as Oscars. Taking to their official Instagram page, the Academy shared a short clip and showed their support for Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer.

For the uninitiated, Aamir Khan and Tom Hanks have previously met during an interaction with Steven Spielberg. Reportedly, Spielberg introduced Aamir Khan to Hanks while referring him as “James Cameron of India”.
The movie making its way to the theatres generated very less revenue. On its second day in theatres, Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha experienced a shocking drop in attendance. On August 12, the movie brought in almost Rs 7 crore, as reported by Live Mint. The day one receipt of the movie amounted to Rs 12 crore which was the third-best start for a Bollywood movie in 2022. After Day 2, the movie’s domestic box office is close to a total of Rs 19 crore.
