Jaipur: Actress Hansika Motwani tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Sohael Kathuriya in Jaipur on Sunday. The “Koi Mil Gaya’ fame actress tied the knot at Jaipur’s Mandota Fort and Palace with close family and friends. Their wedding pictures and videos are viral on social media. It’s hard to take the eyes off the beauty of Hansika in a red lehenga. Sohael was dressed in an ivory sherwani.
The wedding rituals were held in a royal atmosphere in the fort with lights and fireworks. Sohael kissed Hansika publicly after the ‘sindoor daan’ tradition. There were tears of joy in the eyes of the actress. Earlier on Sunday, the pictures of their Haldi and Sangeet program were shared on social media. The couple was dressed in a white floral dress for the Haldi event. On the day of Sangeet, Hanshika wore a pink lehenga.
Sohael, a businessman by profession, proposed to Hansika under the Eiffel Tower in Paris. He offered his love in Western style by kneeling down infront of his lady love. The gesture won the hearts of the netizens. After that, Hansika’s bachelor party was celebrated in Greece. Posting the video of the party on Instagram, Hansika wrote, “Best Bachelorette ever.”
Little Hansika won hearts as a child actor early in her career. She acted as Karuna and Sona in the very popular Doordarshan serial ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’. After that, she was seen as a child actor in several films including ‘Hawa’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, and, ‘Abra Ka Dabra’. Later, Hansika acted in several films in the South film industry.
