The film saw a massive 85 per cent jump from its 2nd Friday, with the Hindi dubbed version leading the surge, doubling its business from the previous day. The week-on-week drop was just 30 per cent, an outstanding hold.
The film Kantara Chapter 1 saw a massive surge in box office collection on its second Saturday, earning a net ₹37 crore in India on its 10th day in theaters. Famous film critic, Taran adarsh called it a hit and claimed that the movie witnessed superb growth of 102.39%
This collection represents a remarkable 66% jump from Friday and a nearly 75% increase compared to its earnings on Thursday, the final day of its first week. Thanks to this strong performance, the Rishab Shetty film’s total net collection in India now stands at ₹396.65 crore (grossing ₹476 crore) after 10 days. Given the extremely positive word-of-mouth, the film is highly likely to have a very strong second Sunday today, with expectations to earn over ₹40 crore in India alone.
