Kangana Ranauts latest action film, “Tejas ” faced a start, at the box office during its opening weekend. On Monday, the film’s collection dropped below ₹1 crore mark, with estimates suggesting it earned around ₹50 lakh. This brings its four-day total to ₹4.25 crore. The movie maintained a 6.6 percent Hindi occupancy on Monday, showing no improvement since its release, where it earned ₹1.25 crore and maintained similar figures throughout the weekend.
“Tejas” features Kangana Ranaut in the role of Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force pilot who embarks on a rescue mission while passionately pursuing her dream of becoming a pilot.
On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to attend a screening of “Tejas” at the Lok Bhawan Auditorium in Lucknow, where Kangana Ranaut will also be present. Prior to its release Kangana organised a screening for Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and several Indian Air Force officers at the Indian Airforce Auditorium in Delhi.
The news “12th Fail,” directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and featuring Vikrant Massey, experienced a surge at the box office with a 134 percent increase in earnings, on its opening day. “12th Fail” has managed to collect ₹2.50 crores on its day, bringing its earnings to ₹3.60 crores. This demonstrates the film’s success, in the world of cinema. While it experienced growth during the opening weekend, it followed the anticipated trend and swed down on Monday, with estimates suggesting collections of ₹1.2 crore.
The film’s total stands at ₹8.2 crore after four days of release. “12th Fail” recorded a 10.04 percent Hindi occupancy on Monday and outperformed “Tejas,” which struggled to cross ₹5 crore.
The film has garnered praise from the audience, receiving a rating of 9 out of 10 on IMDb and positive reviews from critics. Cricketer Shubhman Gill also endorsed the movie, hailing it as “very inspirational” and encouraging young individuals to never give up on their dreams.
