Mumbai: The likes of aerial action thriller movies might be very common in the west. But in India, it will be seen for the first time in Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming movie titled Fighter. The movie will be directed by Siddharth Anand who also made ‘War’ and ‘Bang Bang’ with Hrithik Roshan earlier. The movie was set to release next year on September 28th but it has been postponed now.
Lead actors Hrithik and Deepika took to their Instagram handles to share the new date. Both the actors shared a new poster of the movie and announced the new date. While Hrithik’s post had the caption- “25th January 2024- see you at the theatres! #Fighter”, Deepika’s post read- “Fasten your seat-belts!#FIGHTER, India’s first aerial action film, releases on 25th January 2024!”
The movie is special for the audience because they will witness the pairing for the first time. The Hrithik-Deepika duo will bring on the magic on screen with India’s first aerial action thriller movie. Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand is busy wrapping up his next directorial Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika in lead roles which is set to release on Jan 25 next year.
This will mark King Khan’s return to movies after a long pause of around 4 years. Apart from Fighter and Pathaan, Deepika has ‘The Intern’ and ‘Project K’ in her Kitty. Hrithik’s last release Vikram Vedha also did a good job at the box office. Let’s wait for these two power-packed performers’ next release together.
