Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the bail pleas filed by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaz Seth Merchant in connection with the seizure of drugs for October 28th.  The single bench of the Bombay HC will hear the matter at 3:00 PM tomorrow. The lawyers of Aryan, Munmun and Arbaz have concluded their arguments on their bail applications before Justice N.W. Sambre on Wednesday while Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, who is representing the NCB, will respond to the arguments tomorrow.

Mukul Rohtagi, who is Aryan Khan’s lawyer, made a forceful plea for his bail during the hearing. The former Attorney General of India requested the High Court to go through the arrest memo again, as per sources. He pointed out that there were no charges of conspiracy at the time of Aryan’s arrest in connection with the drugs case. Aryan Khan, Munmum Dhamecha and Arbaz Seth Merchant were among the 8, who were detained and later arrested following NCB’s raid on a luxury cruise.

The Narcotics Control Bureau had busted an alleged drugs party on a Goa-bound ship on October 2nd. A Special NDPS Court had rejected Aryan’s bail on October 20th in connection with the case following which his judicial custody was extended till October 30th. Khan’s lawyer had approached the Bombay High Court for an urgent hearing in the matter.
