Prashanth Varma’s mythological superhero epic, ‘HanuMan,’ experienced a surge in box office earnings on Republic Day, crossing the ₹225 crore milestone within fifteen days of its release, as reported by a prominent film industry tracker. On its fifteenth day in cinemas, the film added ₹8.35 crore to its net collection, reaching a remarkable total of ₹158.75 crore.
The Tollywood blockbuster sustained its momentum, accumulating ₹58.9 crore net in its second week, following an impressive ₹99.85 crore net in its debut week. The film’s success was underscored by a substantial 67.39 percent Telugu occupancy and 39.01 percent Hindi occupancy on Friday. Notably, ‘HanuMan’ outperformed other releases on its opening day, surpassing the net earnings of films like Merry Christmas, starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, by collecting ₹11.91 crore in India.
Renowned film trade analyst Sumit Kadel lauded the movie, describing it as a “remarkable blend of devotion, humor, emotions, and action” that captivates audiences throughout its runtime. On social media, Manobala Vijayabalan predicted that ‘HanuMan’ is poised to join the ₹250 crore club.
PrimeShow Entertainment, the film’s producer, took to Instagram to celebrate the monumental success. In a post, they expressed gratitude for the historic response, announcing a special event, the ‘HanuMan Gratitude Meet,’ scheduled for January 27th from 11 AM onwards. The post emphasized that the entire team is coming together to celebrate this momentous achievement.
