Perry was born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, on August 19, 1969. He began his acting career in the late 1980s with guest appearances on television shows such as Growing Pains and The Facts of Life. In 1994, he landed the role of Chandler Bing on Friends, which would make him a household name.
Perry played Chandler on Friends for all 10 seasons of the show. He was known for his dry wit and sarcastic humor, as well as his on-again, off-again relationship with Monica Geller, played by Courteney Cox.
