Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was arrested in July 2021 for his alleged involvement in a porn racket case. It was reported that Raj produced porn shows. After being arrested for a few months, Raj was released on bail in December. Although there has been no update on the case since then, Raj has been maintaining a low profile and only gets snapped with strange face masks every time he gets papped.
As per latest reports, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has registered a case against Raj Kundra in the porn racket case and he will be summoned soon for questioning. The ED is probing into financial transactions of Raj and the others who involved in the racket, including those based overseas.
As per a reports, an ED source went on to add that the case was registered last week after a careful examination of all the data and the summoning is likely to begin soon.
The ED had earlier collected a copy of an FIR (First Investigative Report) by Mumbai police against Kundra and others. Further details are still awaited. Along with Kundra, Ryan Thorpe, the IT head of his company was also arrested last year for his alleged involvement in the case.
