Mohanlal’s much-awaited film, Drishyam 3, is set to release worldwide on April 2, 2026. The release date was officially announced by the makers on social media, and it will coincide with Ajay Devgn’s birthday, who brings the same film in Hindi on October 2, 2026. Mohanlal posted an update on the film’s release on X.
Drishyam 3, the third installment of the series is directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios and Panorama Studios present the film. This is the third instalment of the hit franchise that sees Georgekutty struggle to hide a dark secret from the police force.
The Hindi version of Drishyam 3 is expected to hit the theatres in October. The rights have been acquired by Panorama Studios. It will be directed by Abhishek Pathak and will star Ajay Devgn and Tabu in lead roles. Akshaye Khanna recently courted controversy after he decided to give the upcoming instalment a miss over a disagreement with the makers. Ahead of its release, the film has already garnered controversy when Akshay Khanna suddenly called off the film after the success of Dhurandhar.
