Director Raaj Shaandilyaas’s latest film, “Dream Girl 2,” starring Ayushmann Khurrana, has been creating quite a buzz in the Indian box office. The movie premiered on Friday. Managed to earn ₹16 crore by Sunday, according to insiders from the industry.

Right from its opening day, “Dream Girl 2” received a response, collecting ₹10.69 crore on its debut day and ₹14.02 crore on the day. Initial estimates suggest that the movie is likely to earn ₹16 crore nett on Sunday with a collection of about ₹5 crore on Monday. This brings the earnings of the film to a commendable ₹40.69 crore within its first weekend.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who plays a role in “Dream Girl 2” couldn’t be happier with how well-received the movie has been.
