Mumbai: Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar continues to stay under observation in the Breach Candy hospital Mumbai. Issuing an update about her health, doctors treating her said that she would be kept under observation for another 8-10 days to ensure a full recovery.
Dr Pratit Samdani, treating the nightingale of India said,” She is still under observation and her treatment is underway. It is too early to say anything at the moment. She will have to be kept under observation for the next 8-10 days.” He urged her fans to pray for her speedy recovery and discharge.
Lata Mangeshkar was hospitalized after she presented mild symptoms of COVID-19 on Tuesday this week. Her niece Rachna had then informed through her social media handle about the legendry singers’ hospitalization.
With a career spanning over seven decades, Lata didi lent her voice to almost 1,000 Hindi songs. Her last album was Veer Zara in 2004.
