The box office sales of Dhurandhar with 20 days in theatres have solidly placed the movie at the position of the largest blockbusters in the Indian cinema. The spy action thriller Aditya Dhar has earned a new record of 944 crore across the globe making it one of the top 10 grossing Indian movies of all time and a major milestone in the life of Ranveer Singh.
Trade analysts estimate that the total global revenues of the film can be estimated at about 935 crore on its debut. It has also shown particularly good domestic returns, and it has a net collection of around 607 crore in India and a gross of about 728.50 crore. The international theatrical revenue has not been left behind and it has been placed at an estimate of ₹205 to 210 crores. Later updated figures showed that Dhurandhar had exceeded a 944 crore mark in the world and established itself as a blockbuster.
On Christmas Day, Jio Studios announced on their social media about the extraordinary domestic performance of the film. The production house estimated the India collection to be 640 crore and this film was termed by them as being a full force phenomenon. The high pedestrian traffic also enhanced the overall box office collections of the film, which underlines its long-lasting popularity despite being in the third week of the release.
These figures have made Dhurandhar officially become one of the top 10 grossing Indian films in the world. It has in the process overtaken such huge hits like Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film will have the next box office milestone as Kalki 2898 AD which includes Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan and is already a global collection of ₹1,042 crore.
