Aditya Dhar action thriller Dhurandhar, led by Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, is one of the highly awaited movies which has become a big box-office Grosser in simply eight days and is now performing commendably. The movie also has its share of critics, although it has been met with a mixed reaction, audiences have been extremely supportive of the movie and the momentum it is experiencing is impressive.

As per trade reports, Dhurandhar ended its first week with a solid collection of 207.25 crore. The movie had a strong start in the second week as it registered a significant increase of 20.37 per cent in collections on its second Friday, when it received 32.5 crore. This spurred the domestic net collection of the film to 239.75 crore. The film has earned 287.75 crore in India and 85 crore abroad whereby; the film is currently earning 372.75 crore at the box office globally.

These figures have made Dhurandhar the top lifetime collection globally of the War 2, the YRF spy-universe movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, which had collected ₹364.35 crore. The Ranveer Singh star has now established itself as the fifth-highest grossing movie of 2025. Industry commentators feel that the film is on the proper path of overgoing the lifetime earnings of Coolie by Rajinikanth of 518 crore and it will likely surpass it within the next seven days of its second week of release, provided the trend remains unchanged.

As directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a spy-thriller/action-thriller which is based on a series of real life geopolitical events such as the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the fake currency crisis which took place in 2012 and covert R&AW operations conducted under operation Lyari and crackdowns on organised crime networks.

The movie stars Ranveer Singh as Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari, Akshaye Khanna as dreaded gangster of Pakistani background Rehman Dakait, and others.
