The box office monster Dhurandhar 2 does not show sign of slowing down as it carries on with its record run despite a minor slowdown on weekdays. Although there was a decline in collections following its sensational opening weekend, the movie has maintained a streamlined income of more than 40 crores in a day, making it one of the largest Hindi blockbusters ever of all times.
Aditya Dhar is the director of the film and Ranveer Singh plays its lead role, which had an outstanding opening with the collection of ₹43 crore in paid previews, then a staggering ₹102 crore on the opening day. It also registered several 100+ crores days and even gave the largest Monday collection in the Indian film industry ever. The film earned an approximate of ₹623 crore despite a slight fall in collections during the midweek, reaching approximately ₹48 crore on Wednesday.
Thursday saw the film pick up with the help of the Ram Navami holiday. The morning shows were occupied by approximately 25 percent, and in the afternoon, the collections were already more than 21 crore and the overall domestic earnings had already crossed 650 crore with only eight days to go.
Dhurandhar 2 has become one of the fastest-grossing movies to hit the ₹600 crore milestone, and won the lifetime earnings of Stree 2 and Jawan, which is more than that movie.
The film is currently the one that is on the verge of breaking even larger records as it is already ahead of its predecessor in the domestic earnings.
