Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge by Aditya Dhar has shattered box office records across the world as it had an impressive opening day becoming one of the biggest film releases in the Indian world. The Ranveer Singh-starrer collected a staggering ₹145 crore net domestic, 43 crore on paid previews and an amazing 240 crore gross worldwide on this very first day. It is the highest opening of a Bollywood movie, ranking second only to Pushpa 2, which earned ₹274 crore all over the world in 2024, in terms of opening.

Its performance in foreign countries was also amazing as it earned almost 9.5 million dollars as it was very popular in the pan-India and international market. As of excluding paid preview, the domestic collection was 102 crores and this made it a record of the highest single day collections by a Hindi film. This record had previously been held by Jawan which made 80 crore in its first Sunday.

The fast-paced action sequences, a strong narrative and the dominating performance of Ranveer Singh have facilitated this breakthrough success at the box office, which has been highly praised by both critics and audiences. Analysts forecast that the hype of the opening day, alongside the good word-of-mouth publicity of the film, may see it make more than the net earnings of Pushpa 2 in India.

Having achieved record breaking paid previews, mad first day collections and excellent reception internationally, dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has solidly established itself in the record books as an exemplary release in Indian cinema that has set new benchmarks in terms of box office collections and reception by the audience.
