Deva box office collection day 6: Malayalam director Roshan Andrews’ first Hindi film, Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde, released in theaters on January 31, is performing well at the box office. As per the latest reports, the film Deva has now crossed the ₹25 crore mark at the box office.

According to the report, early estimates of Deva’s total collection are ₹26.65 crore. From Monday onward, the movie’s box office receipts took a significant hit, and it will be interesting to observe how it performs over the next days. Deva made the lowest single-day collection to date on its sixth day of release, earning ₹ 2.35 crore. The movie earned ₹5.5 crore net on its first day of release, and then on Saturday it made ₹6.4 crore, a 16.36% increase in collections. On Monday, however, the movie’s earnings dropped by 62.07 percent.

In a heartfelt social media post before the movie’s premiere, Shahid praised the effort and commitment he put into the production. Taking to Instagram, he posted a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the making of Deva. He wrote in the caption, “One year of blood, sweat, and tears. 2024 was all DEVA!!! MERA DIL MERI JAAN. Prithviraj Sukumaran starred in Rosshan’s 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police, which was remade as Deva. Shahid plays ACP Dev Ambre, a guy who attempts to solve the death of his closest friend but loses his memory. Pooja plays Diya Sathaye, a reporter. It also has important roles for Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati.
