Mumbai: Actress Deepika Padukone was spotted today at Mumbai airport early morning today as she boarded her flight to Los Angeles where she will present an Oscar at the 95th Academy Awards. Dressed in her trademark travel style, which is all covered up and comfy, she carried luggage bag from Louis Vuitton.
As the paparazzi caught her at the airport, she was seen getting out of the car in a black turtleneck top layered with an oversized black blazer. She paired it with a pair of flared jeans and geeky glasses. Unsurprisingly, given that she’s the ambassador for the design house and will wear its creation at the Oscars.
Deepika Padukone will be the third Indian to attend Oscars as a presenter, after Star Trek icon Persis Khambatta and desi girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas. This year, Oscars are significant for India also as three films are nominated; Naatu Naatu from RRR is nominated for the Best Original Song, All That Breathes and The Elephant Whisperers are competing for Best Documentary Feature and Best Documentary Short respectively.
The gala is expected to take place on March 13, 2022 at Dolby Theatre Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
