The film, “Crew,” which performed well in India and abroad, gradually started to lose its audience in India and worldwide since Monday. The film’s business analysts surmised that it only earned ₹11 million on its release in its second week. “Crew” opens doors to the past to reveal the background of several women in the aviation industry. The film, though, achieved this milestone in its first week with an amount of ₹43.75 crore.
Subsequent daily earnings included ₹3.75 crore on day 8, ₹5.25 crore on day 9, ₹5.5 crore on day 10, ₹1.75 crore on day 11, and ₹2.14 crore on day 12. On day 13, early estimates suggest “Crew” earned ₹1.51 crore nett in India, bringing its total Indian earnings to ₹63.65 crore.
Starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon as air hostesses, “Crew” also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. Additional cast members include Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film, released on March 29, is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Anil Kapoor under Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network, along with Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures.
“Crew” movie shows the humorous events in the lives of these women doing a profession as an airline crew. Amidst some comic moments, they always get into troubles particularly when they get into falsehood. The threesome is torn between having some snacks or dealing with the consequences of the plot. They are more often than not seen blowing the whistle to the police or even worse, simply turning into villains.
The film’s storyline, indeed a mix of laughter and the adventure, though in the midst of an industry battling with adversity, will keep your eyes glued to the TV screen. Although “Crew” firstly goes through success period, yet, similar to all human beings, sometimes the actors are confronted with the actions of their characters that bring both funny and unexpected events.
