Mumbai: After testing negative for COVID-19 Aryan and others accused in the cruise drug case were shifted to a common cell from quarantine Barack in Arthur Jail. The shifting of the accused to the common cell was informed by the superintendent of Arthur Road Jail, Nitin Wayachar.
The 23 year old star kid was arrested by undercover NCB officials on October 3rd from a cruise bound to Goa. Following which he was sent for 14 day judicial custody and was later transferred to Arthur Road Jail as the court magistrate denied extension of judicial custody.
Aryans bail plea was dismissed in the session’s court on October 13th and rescheduled for today. However, at a hearing at the NDPS Court today, Aryan Khan’s lawyer disapproved allegations by the NCB officials that stated the 23 year old boy was involved in illicit drug possession and trading. Meanwhile, NCB on the same day submitted a report in the special court, according to which Aryan was involved in illegal activities pertaining to drugs.
Apart from Aryan Khan, another accused Arbaz Khan has also been implicated for illegal possession of drugs. In a statement given by ASG for NCB it was indicated that the Arbaz was a regular consumer of drugs for the past few years. He further stated the accused confessed possession of charas while onboard and had plans to consume it.
