Mumbai: The historical drama Chhaava is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The Vicky Kaushal-led film is sustaining its hold at the ticket counters even on weekdays. After five days of its release, the film has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in India.

Industry tracker reported that Laxman Utekar’s period drama earned approximately Rs 24.5 crore on Tuesday. The film had a total Hindi occupancy of 32.52 percent, with maximum footfall during the night shows. It is having a great run in Maharashtra, as Pune recorded 69 percent occupancy across 705 shows, while Mumbai saw 54 percent occupancy across 1,419 shows.
During the day, the Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer maintained an impressive overall occupancy rate of 31.62 percent in the Hindi market. While the morning shows started with 17.80 percent occupancy, the rate kept improving as the day progressed, rising to 27.11 percent in the afternoon, 34.12 percent in the evening, and peaking at 47.46 percent during night screenings.
