Mumbai: Bollywood celebrities took to social media to send warm birthday wishes to actor Amitabh Bachchan on his 80th birthday. Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and many others shared their messages on Instagram.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his wishes to the actor by sharing a tweet.
Karan Johar who has recently bid adieu to Twitter, wished Amitabh Bachchan through Instagram and wrote, “Amitabh Bachchan is not just an institution, a legend, a masterclass in acting… he is a feeling!”.
Actor Akshay Kumar too shared a picture with Amitabh Bachchan from the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati and wrote, “My inspiration Bachchan saab (sir)! Wish you a very happy 80th birthday Amitabh Bachchan sir”. Actor Sonam Kapoor shared a photo with him and wrote “Happy birthday @amitabhbachchan lots and lost of love Amit uncle. Have he best year!”.
