The Indian cinema is set to get its first werewolf story with ‘Bhediya’ starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead with Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. The film is set against the backdrop of the mesmerising forests of Arunachal Pradesh. It tells the story of Bhaskar, a man who gets bitten by a mythical wolf and begins to transform into the creature himself. As Bhaskar and his ragtag buddies try to find answers, a bunch of twists turns and laughs ensue.

In the trailer the makers shared on Wednesday, the story starts with a long shot of a town somewhere in Himachal Pradesh shifting to a scene where Varun Dhawan is sleeping. The trailer features the transformation of Varun into a werewolf which concludes with the title remix of the famous animated Jungle Book, “Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai”.
