For nearly a month now, Brahmastra has been ruling the box office! It has set the cash registers ringing. Undoubtedly this Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt venture has ended the dry spell of Bollywood at the box office.
25 days since its theatrical release, the epic adventure directorial by Ayaan Mukherji has minted beyond Rs 250 crore mark at the box office domestically. On Tuesday Ayan Mukherji took to his Instagram handle to celebrate the worldwide collection the film earned in 25 days. Wishing Navratri to all his fans, Ayan Mukherji shared a poster which featured the worldwide collection of Brahmastra which stood close to 425 crores.

Meanwhile, an interview of Ayan Mukherji hints at the expansion of Brahmastra Astraverse on the likes of MCU. Ayan Mukerji reveals that Astraverse was not on his radar when he began work on Brahmastra in 2015. However, the trilogy evolved into a larger universe over time. He further revealed that two years ago when COVID-19 struck, he saw how Marvel works in phases and had a plan for Phase One of the Astraverse. It included some streaming content. He went on to say that a certain type of storytelling, told over nine episodes at a slightly slower pace, with deeper character development, brings joy to the viewers.
Ayan revealed that Disney sent him to Los Angeles earlier this year to participate in an international studio summit, where he presented Brahmastra and also was lucky to meet Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President.
Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has been receiving rave reviews from fans and viewers. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The next instalment of Brahmastra Part Two-Dev is set to be released in 2025.
