The latest box office reports indicate a lackluster performance for ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. The film faced a significant setback with the release of Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ on July 12. As a result, the Sameer Vidwans-directed movie experienced a further drop in collections on July 13, failing to attract a substantial audience. On its fifteenth day, ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ managed to earn a meager sum of around Rs 1.30 crore.

‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ marks the on-screen reunion of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani following their appearance together in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Although the film garnered a promising Rs 9.5 crore on its opening day, it has been struggling to sustain its box office performance since then.

Early estimates reveal that ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ accumulated over Rs 1.30 crore in India on July 13, thereby bringing its total domestic box office collection to Rs 72.76 crore after 15 days of its release. On July 13, the film recorded a 12.92 percent Hindi occupancy rate.

Apart from Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, the star-studded cast of ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ includes Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. The film is a joint venture between NGE and Namah Pictures. Notably, Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, and director Sameer Vidwans have previously won a National Award for their respective projects, ‘Chhichhore’ and ‘Anandi Gopal’.

Despite its star-studded cast and initial buzz, ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ has struggled to maintain its momentum at the box office, facing tough competition from the Hollywood blockbuster and grappling with diminishing audience interest.
