Mumbai: Big Boss fame Siddharth Shukla, best known for his long-running show Balika Vadhu breathed his last on Thursday. Sources report he suffered a massive heart attack on Thursday morning and was bought dead to the hospital some time ago. Shukla was 40 years old and was taken to Cooper Hospital reported a local media room. He is survived by his mother and two sisters.
The television Industry was taken by shock as the news surfaced. Peers of the deceased actor poured in condolences on their social media accounts and expressed grief over the loss.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee took to his Twitter account to pay tribute. He wrote,” OMG!!! This is So Shocking!!! Words fail to describe the shock and sense of loss of his near and dear ones!!! May he rest in peace!!! No Yaar!!!.”
Siddharth Shukla made his acting debut with a lead role in 2008 in the show Babul ka Angann Chootey Na. In 2014 he made his Bollywood debut as a supporting actor in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He was also known for his strong friendship with his Big Boss co-contestant Shehnaz Gill. Apparently, the two have often been thought to be in a romantic relationship and have appeared as rumoured couples in several videos and were fondly known as ‘Sidnaaz’ by their fans.
