Mumbai: Ace comedian Bharti Singh and her Producer Husband Harsh Limbachiyaa have been in legal trouble since NCB found their connection with drugs back in the year 2020. The couple was found in possession of almost 86 grams of Cannabis (Ganja) in 2020 by the NCB after they raided their home and production house office. They were arrested by the NCB related to the case. But they were later given bail by a special Narcotics court due to which they were freed from jail.
Now, it seems the legal trouble for the couple has come back to haunt them as NCB has filed a 200-page chargesheet against them. According to the NCB officials, the raid and search of drugs in Bharti’s house was part of their probe against the use of drugs in the entertainment industry. This seems to have deepened more after the death of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
An NCB official said, “Both Bharti and her husband Haarsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of Ganja. The search was conducted as part of a probe by the NCB into alleged drug use in the entertainment industry”. More investigations are to be followed by the NCB regarding the case. Notably, the couple has become parents on October 14 this year when Bharti delivered a healthy baby boy who they named Laksh.
