Mumbai: The controversy over Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s song Besharam Rang from the film ‘Pathaan’ is deepening every day. Ever since the release of the song, the controversy doesn’t seem to stop. Earlier, there was an uproar over Deepika’s saffron bikini, and now RTI activist Danish Khan has entered into the matter demanding the removal of the song from the film. Not only this, the matter has now reached the Human Rights Commission as well.

It has just been a week since the release of the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from SRK’s upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’. In the song, Deepika Padukone is seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan in a saffron-colored dress. Many right-wing organizations did not like this scene and they demanded to remove it from the film. Along with this, protests were also started in several parts of the country. Meanwhile, expressing objection to Deepika’s bikini, RTI activist Danish Khan has called it an insult to his religion.

RTI activist Danish Khan has filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) regarding the song Besharam Rang. He has demanded the removal of the song from the film. He says that the saffron color about which there has been an uproar has great importance in the Muslim community as well.

This is the Chishti color for the Muslim community. In the complaint, he has described the song as hurting the sentiments of Hindu-Muslim unity. Notably, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Veer Shivaji group had also expressed their displeasure earlier related to the saffron color of the dress. And now the Muslim community is also opposing it.

‘Pathaan’ is going to hit the theatres on January 25. Apart from Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham is also in the lead role in the film.
