The rapper and singer Badshah has gotten into trouble after releasing his latest song Tateeree that has been brought into the limelight of controversy due to its allegedly explicit lyrics and visuals. Some viewers and commentators on the internet have raised their eyebrows arguing that the words of the song are unseemly and outraged the cultural emotions.
With the increased hype, the singer has been reportedly threatened by people professing to be members of the gang of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. On Sunday, an image of a Facebook status started to spread across the internet, supposedly written by individuals associated with the Bishnoi gang. The post also seemed to have a direct threat that was directed at Badshah, threatening him regarding the controversial song.
The post was alleged to have been published through a Facebook page, whose name was Randeep Malik Anil Pandit, supposedly a member of Bishnoi gang. The alleged associates included in the message said that they had already been warned via a phone call of the rapper. In the same post, they mentioned a recent shooting incident in Panipat and alleged that they were the cause of the same incident.
As per the message written in Hindi, the people accuse the singer of an alleged spoilage of Haryana culture. The post also mentioned a previous supposed event in 2024, which reportedly the members of the gang had tried to threaten Badshah in a club as a warning. The message also made a grave threat saying that the previous act was merely a preview and more might be done.
The threatening post trended immediately across social media and it was of concern among fans and the music community. Although the validity of the argument and the narrative has not as yet received official confirmation, the occurrence has created a new debate on the controversy of the song and the precautionary security of leaders in the public who are under the oppressive of online threats.
