Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha movie of Ajay Devgn and Tabu has not created any boom at the box office and has failed to pick up in its opening week. In the light of a survey conducted recently, it was estimated that the film has grossed ₹6.75 crore in India so far. The cast of the film is very cunning and distinguished, but the collections are still not so vibrant and are not showing rapid growth.
The film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was launched recently and made a business of ₹ 1.85 crore on the first day. The film had a slight uplift on the second day, collecting ₹2.15 crore. However, it plunged into problems in the subsequent days and was only able to attain ₹2.75 crore on its first Sunday, which would surely guarantee it to sustain or even gather more during the week. Even after three days, the total earnings remain below the effect where crossing ₹6.75 crore mark.
Occupancy rates for the film have also been lukewarm as well. On Saturday, the Hindi occupancy was only 13.42 percent. Similarly, during morning shows, the occupancy of the theatre was considerably low, with the count being 6.12%, but the performance was slightly enhanced during afternoon and evening shows, having a rate of 15.21 percent and 18.19 percent, respectively. The night shows experienced a slight lift with occupancy going up to 14.17 percent.
Initially planned for release on July 5, the film release was postponed because of the box-office hit interfering with Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD. Taking place from 2002 to 2023, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar as the younger manifestations of Ajay Devgn and Tabu, respectively. From this, it can be deduced that even new films face stiff competition when launched into the market, as seen by the fate of the films released at the box office.
