The Indian cricket family welcomes another Bollywood Bahu. Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood star Athiya Shetty are all set to tie the knot on January 23, 2023. Well, the venue is decided and the guest list is out. Going by media reports, the wedding will be a three-day gala affair with celebs also in attendance at the high-profile wedding at a farmhouse in Khandala.
The pre-wedding festivities also begin on January 21st with the ladies’ night. “It is an extremely close-knit family affair. Only friends and family members will be a part of the wedding. It’s most likely that you may not see many industry peeps,” said a source.
Invites for the wedding have already been sent out and among those who have confirmed their presence is Akanksha Ranjan, who is Athiya’s closest friend. The couple will host sangeet, mehendi and haldi functions over a course of two days. Athiya’s parents Suniel and Mana Shetty and her brother Ahan Shetty are expected to perform in the sangeet.
It is also said that celebrity stylist Ami Patel will style the to-be bride, while the groom will be taken care of by stylist Rahul Vijay.
Athiya and Rahul have been in a relationship for over three years now and had gone public just about a year ago. The couple met through a common friend. The couple has always been very private about their relationship, despite being public figures.
