Mumbai: Anant Ambani, the son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, has announced to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on July 12, a news agency reported. The wedding ceremony is going to be managed in the Hindu Vedic style at the newly developed Jio World Convention Centre in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), located in the city.
Preparations for the grand nuptial ceremony are underway, and according to the save-the-date card spotted by a news agency, the celebration in Mumbai will begin on the 12th of July and continue until the 14th. The ceremonies shall start from July 12 up to the main occasion, the Shubh Vivah, a symbolic wedding ceremony.
After the principal wedding, on the Saturday, July 13 is the reception in the evening, and Shubh aashirwad means seeking God’s blessings. They are planning to hold a wedding reception and this will be on Sunday 14th July of the month. On the invite card, there are handwritten lines that say, “By the grace of Smt Kokilaben and Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Smt. Purnimaben and Shri Ravindrabhai Dalal, we invite you and you to join us for the wedding of our son Anant to Radhika”.
We got to know from the Ambani family that a letter invite will be announced shortly. Apart from the pre-wedding rituals, Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani are already pushing their bar high as they are organizing a four-day extravagant party in Europe on a luxury cruise ship for their children, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
A number of Bollywood celebrities and high-profile personalities, such as cricket giant Mahender Singh Dhoni, are gracing this grand event. Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ananya Panday, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Karan Johar, and other Bollywood celebrities arrived for the second round of pre-wedding functions.
The Ambani family had hosted a grand engagement too for the couple in the month of March that had taken place in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Such pre-wedding ceremonies also highlight the glitz and glamour involved with the celebration being from the Ambani family.
