According to the schedule unveiled on Friday, Day 2 of the pre-wedding festivities promises a delightful blend of nature appreciation and cultural activities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The day kicks off with a ‘walk to the wild side’ at the Ambanis’ animal rescue center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, reinforcing their commitment to wildlife conservation. The designated dress code, ‘jungle fever,’ sets the tone for a wild experience.
Earlier this week, Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation introduced the Vantara (Star of the Forest) program, a comprehensive initiative dedicated to the rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured, abused, and endangered animals in India and abroad.
Following the wildlife walk, the guests will be treated to the vibrant ‘Mela Rouge,’ hosting a variety of traditional activities. The dress code for this cultural extravaganza is ‘South Asian attires,’ reflecting the rich heritage of the region.
The star-studded guest list includes luminaries from Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor, alongside esteemed sports personalities like MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, expressed her enthusiasm for the pre-wedding celebrations. Emphasizing the importance of art and culture in her life, she said, “Throughout my life, I have been inspired by arts and culture. It has deeply moved me, and I am very passionate about it.”
Notably, Bollywood power couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, who missed the initial festivities, are en route to Jamnagar. Spotted at the Kalina airport in Mumbai, they showcased their style with Katrina in a floral dress and Vicky in a cream jacket and pants, having recently had his arm cast removed.
