Famous Bollywood and TV industry actor, producer and director Dheeraj Kumar has passed away. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri area of Mumbai after his health suddenly deteriorated on Monday. Due to his critical condition, he was kept in ICU and put on ventilator support, but the doctors could not save him. Dheeraj Kumar said goodbye to the world at the age of 79. He was suffering from acute pneumonia for the last few days.

According to the news, before his health deteriorated, Dheeraj Kumar had gone to visit the ISKCON temple. After returning from here, his health suddenly deteriorated, after which he had to be admitted to the hospital. Giving information about Dheeraj Kumar’s condition, the family had said that he is serious and is constantly under the supervision of doctors. At the same time, now everyone is shocked by the news of his death.

Dheeraj Kumar has worked in many hit films like ‘Deedar’, ‘Raaton Ka Raja’, ‘Bahaaron Phool Barsao’, ‘Roti Kapda Aur Makaan’, ‘Sharafat Chhod Di Maine’, ‘Sargam’, ‘Kranti’ and ‘Man Bharon Sajna’ in his career. He entered the world of acting in the 1970s. Apart from Hindi films, he also made his special identity in Punjabi cinema. Dheeraj Kumar has worked in 21 Punjabi films.

Apart from acting, Dheeraj Kumar also tried his hand at direction and proved his ability in it too. He has directed films like the magical film ‘Aabra Ka Daabra’ made for children and the mystery film ‘Kashi: In Search of Ganga’. He also formed a company named ‘Creative Eye Limited’ and made more than 30 TV serials, which included many shows like ‘Om Namah Shivay’, ‘Shri Ganesh’, ‘Sanskar’, ‘Dhoop-Chaanv’, ‘Adaalat’ and ‘Singhasan Battisi’.
